Oral insulin, which refers to insulin that is taken by mouth rather than being injected, has been a subject of research and development for many years. We at MKPPL are working on a sub lingual formulation. Our product so far is stable and is based on human insulin and is long lasting. While there have been challenges in developing an effective oral insulin formulation, if successfully developed, oral insulin could offer several benefits.

MK-VitFe for CKD Patients

Anaemia is a common complication among patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). CKD refers to the gradual loss of kidney function over time, and it can lead to various health issues, including anemia. Iron levels are frequently low in CKD patients, and providing supplemental iron can help improve red blood cell production. This is where MKPPL iron fortification through MK-VitFe gets into place. The product being Transdermal helps in bringing up the lowered haemoglobin levels to normal levels without the need for iron injections.
